The cost of freedom is always high… (2/15)

“The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.”

– President Kennedy

This quote from former President John F. Kennedy echoes Churchill’s well-known speech to the UK Parliament, a she claims that America will never surrender or submit to our enemies even though the cost of doing so will be very high (Kennedy is no doubt referring to the price paid in the lives of American soldiers on the battlefield).
