Like the board game Monopoly, Mario Party always results in two things; having fun with your friends, and causing intense competition. Mario Party tasks your group of friends with competing in a variety of exciting mini-games while battling over coins and Stars on a virtual board. Part strategy, part luck, and all parts entertaining, this is one party that you’ll want to revisit time and time again.

There are 50 different mini-games to compete in, and eight total game boards to play on. For those who want to party solo, you can take on the Mini-Game Island. Here, you’ll have to complete all the mini-games with a limited number of tries. Whether you’re kicking back with your friends or trying to stir up competitive trouble, Mario Party is one of the N64’s finest multiplayer offerings.
