Often miswritten as the K98, the Mauser 98k was the standard issue German infantry rifle during World War II. It was known as being Hitler’s favorite rifle, and the strong and durable action of the Mauser was also buttery smooth to operate. It fired five rounds of the 8mm Mauser caliber.
