Ruger 10/22

The Ruger 10/22 is the very epitome of the classic .22 survival rifle. In fact, there are many people who will probably argue that the 10/22 is the most important weapon to have in a major disaster scenario. The 10/22 is by far the best selling rimfire rifle today, and is also one of the most customizable firearms on the planet, rivaled only by the 1911, the Glock, and the AR-15. The 10/22 comes standard with ten round magazines, but 25 and 35 rounds magazines are also available.

Additionally, there is a version of the 10/22 called the Ruger 10/22 Takedown, which is literally designed to takedown into two separate halves and then store in a black backpack that ships with the weapon. Reconnecting the two halves is incredibly fast and efficient.
